I have 2 pair of these earrings. They are made of large 13 x 12 mm pink freshwater, Chinese, Kasumi hybrid pearls. They hang on sterling silver wire above 3.5 mm faceted color-shifting pink garnets. The garnets change from the peach-pink in the photos to a richer rose pink, which I forgot to photograph for you. They measure about 1 3/4" in length.
Pearls are one of the most beloved gems, used for millennia in jewelry and decoration, and are the only gems grown inside a living organism. The first recorded mention of pearls is 7,500 years old. They are one of a few organic gemstones, including ivory, amber, and coral.
The pearls in these earrings are huge cultured freshwater pearls from China. The mollusk used is a hybrid of the mollusks used for Kasumi pearls made in Lake Kasumi-ga-Ura in Japan mixed with the mollusks that produce the large South Sea pearls. The combination creates pearls with the size of South Sea pearls and the pink/purple/bronze/gold colors of Kasumi pearls.
Pearls are one of the birthstones of June, along with color-changing alexandrite, and moonstone. It is also the 3rd and 30th wedding anniversary gem.

The use of garnets as gemstones dates back thousands of years, used by Egyptian Pharaohs, ancient Greeks and Romans in jewelry. It is even said that Noah used a garnet lantern to light the way for his ark. Garnet is known as the traveler's stone, having been carried as a talisman for protection and to light the traveler's path.
This garnet is a rare color-shifting stone that shifts from a honey or peach color to a pink, salmon or rose color, depending on the light source, which I've tried to show in the photos. It's a blend of grossular, spessartine, and almandine garnet mined in southern Tanzania, though production has stopped, making the gems increasingly more rare.
Garnet is the birthstone of January, and comes in every color. It is also the zodiacal stone of Aquarius and is the 2nd anniversary stone. It is the state gemstone of Connecticut, the gemstone of New York, and star garnet is the gemstone of Idaho.
