About this Product
Here's a twist on the Little Black Book! Made from repurposed leather and paired with a long piece of trim from archival art print paper which was collected long ago. The Leather covers are 2" x 2¾". The inside accordion fold paper has 16 panels on the front side of the book which measure 1¾" x 2½". There are 14 panels on the back, which would allow for an alphabet book if you wish! Total length of the paper is approximately 30".
The French paper is White Rives BFK which is lovely for drawing and my favorite printmaking paper for silkscreen prints which use ink similar to gouache. It has a smooth vellum surface and comes with the original deckle edge which adds elegance to this hip mini book. There is a thin elastic fabric tie to hold it closed as the accordion loves to do it's thing!
Other sizes are also listed elsewhere, in leather as well as other cover types. They are about twice as large in paper area, the length is the same 30", with 12 panels of 2½"x 3" on front, 10 on the back. I call the larger one "Small" while I call this listing "Little".
Ready to hold your New Year's Resolutions, or play a game of exquisite corpse during the holiday festivities and prop it on a shelf to display the result. Write Haiku, collage a stamp collection from your foreign adventures, or whatever notes you might desire. This listing is for one book, though you can certainly buy more than one!

Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
