About this Product
The White and Gold Ribbons and Leaves paper used for the covers of this Square Accordion fold book has metallic Gold screenprinting on a White Thai Unryu paper. The fun of bookbinding is often the possibility of using different sizes and lengths of paper to make the text block of a book. Making an accordion book can mean joining lengths of folded paper to each other to extend the number of panels (pages). So here I've joined up six strips measuring 24" long and each strip has a hinge on the reverse which is 1/2". The strips are joined to each other using an archival transfer tape. There are 24 panels on each of the front and reverse sides of the book, with panels which measure 6" high and 6 1/8" wide. The paper used is an 80 lb. Superfine Cover White. The inside covers are also attached with a hinge, essentially giving the accordion book 50 panels, 156" long (front and back), for you to use as a Wedding Guest Book, Memory Scrapbook, Photo Album or any combination you might like. The beauty of the Accordion format is that it will easily accomodate what you add to it. I will include a grosgrain ribbon to tie it together, which is a beautiful finishing touch.
In this group I have one each of four cover papers perfect for a wedding or other fancy occasion. There are White and Gold Ribbons and Leaves, Wedding White Lattice Vines, Yuzen Pink Blossoms on Light Yellow and a Richard de Bas Fleur Petal Paper which is handmade in France, made from 100% recycled cotton rag and has real flower inclusions. The Wedding White Lattice Vine is screenprinted on a Natural Nepalese Lokta paper in white ink. The Yuzen paper is silkscreened in many colors and is made in Japan on a special mulberry paper.

I'm a lifelong artist and crafter. I started Grin Graphics to do professional Illustration and Printmaking in New York City where I worked with Galleries and Museums. Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. The items I have crafted for my shop are designed to help you express yourself creatively as well.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
