This is a very unusual and unique blank scrapbook or album. The covers measure 5½" x 8½" and there are forty pages which measure 8½" x 4¼" made from Stardream cover stock in a pewter grey. The inside papers between sections are black. All papers are acid free and archival. There are 4 signatures of pages. The Stardream sheets have been folded to create a half inch buffer between each sheet and to build into the book the space needed to accommodate any additional thickness your applied photos or artwork may have. By counting the front and back of each sheet we come to the 80 page count. When closed it measures 2" at the spine. The covers have a base of either Black or Grey distressed leathers. The covering on the outside spine on the front of the book preserves the topstitching from a leather garment which was recycled. There is a thin band of a lovely gold grosgrain ribbon wrapping completely around the front cover and tied with a simple knot. The textile and ribbon swatch is securely glued to the grey distressed leather leaving a border of about one eighth inch of leather outside the swatch edge.
I rescued the Stardream cover stock from the scrap pile during a job I did at a production company a number of years ago. I also rescued the textile and ribbon textile piece which had been a swatch from a sample book on its way to the rubbish bin. The leathers which are used were recycled from leather garments. The distressed surface of the grey leather was part of a jacket and intentionally distressed as it was made.
Because of it's weight, Priority Mail will be used in the US.

Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
