In these challenging times my weighted eye mask with elastic strap is great way to relax and decompress. A total room darkening mask it provides nighttime anytime, even during the day. Ideal for yoga mediation or as a travel accessory. May help with headaches caused by seasonal allergies, migraines, stress and tension as well as helps those that have trouble falling asleep.
Filled with approximately 6 ounces of natural flaxseed this eye mask provides mild facial acupressure. The eye mask is designed for maximum comfort with the eye area isolated with stitching to keep the flaxseed at the outer area of the eyes thus eliminating eye pressure. The perfect gift for those that work shift work and have trouble falling asleep during the day. Total room darkening means anytime of the day can feel like night time, and light acupressure will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Description
The eye mask is a generous 11"x6x4 to cover most of the face area. Please see the image identifying the dimensions.
The fabric for the outer shell is made with soft snuggle flannel fabric for maximum soothing comfort.
The inside of the eye mask is lined with microwaveable cotton batting for added softness and to prolong the warm therapeutic experience.
Most eye mask are 100% flannel however there are a few prints that are 100% cotton. ALL eye masks backing, the side that touches the facial area is flannel.
The strap is made using 1" elastic with a casing that will match the back of the eye mask
Filled only with natural flaxseed, no other fillers are used.
Available unscented or scented with botanicals and pure essential oils. Choose lavender/chamomile or eucalyptus/peppermint.
Store the eye mask in the freezer in a zip lock bag (included with your order) and your eye mask will be ready to use for gentle cool therapy anytime. (note: the cold is not as intense as other hard, uncomfortable commercial cold packs).
Need warm therapy just take it out of the zip lock bag and pop it in the microwave. When heated the scent of the organic lavender and chamomile buds will provide you with a relaxing sensation, you'll immediately feel relief from the stress of the day.
Any time can feel like nighttime, a total room darkening experience.

Hello and Welcome to my world!
I was a stay-at-home mom until my youngest went to school. To supplement our income during that time, I sewed at home doing alternations and handcrafts. Once all 3 of my kids were in school, I went to work in the outside world for 35+ years and had a successful career.
Now fast forward. I never lost my love and passion for creating, when I retired from the outside workforce I decided it was time that I go back to doing what I truly love, I've come full circle.
I’ve always loved trying anything and everything that got my creative juices flowing, but my true passion was the sewing machine.
In 2018, I opened truME Collection focused on self-care. Here you'll find an assortment of items that will help promote relaxation, reduce stress and help with you pain management needs. Each item is individually made with quality materials.

Every item you find in my both my shops are handmade by me with the occasional help from one of my grandkids. Each item receives my heart and full attention to detail, no mass production here!!

How it’s Made
All truME Therapeutic Flaxseed Heat and Cold Bags and other gift items are made using quality fabric and materials. My therapeutic bags are only filled with all-natural food grade flaxseed, no other fillers are used. When selecting a scented variation, the flaxseed is blended with organic lavender/chamomile or eucalyptus/peppermint with a trace of pure essential oils.
All items are stitched using both overlock and single needle machines for lasting durability in my eco-friendly, home workshop.
