About this Product
TThese Mini Book Ornaments are covered with a fantastical Blue Italian Florentine design with it's signature gold accents, which I have collaged onto a Dark Blue Millenium paper or a Green Canson pastel paper which I use in other listings. They are highlighted with a metallic Gold printed Mulberry paper sandwiched as a special trim around the cover papers. I hand cut all elements of the books and used a transfer adhesive in the collage. The inside covers are the same cover paper. The Florentine end paper wraps around the text block.
There are 32 pages of German Hannemule fine laid writing paper which were hand torn. This is a lovely classic writing paper from a fine European paper mill. It has a subtle texture and is a soft white. Each book measures 1 7/8" x 2 1/2" and is hand sewn using a metallic Gold thread which is extends and is knotted to form the loop to hang it wherever you like! Perfect for penning a love saga, making notes along a trip, playing hangman enroute... And then hang it on the Yule tree at your final destination. Ah, the possibilities! And a perfect Stocking Stuffer!
A customer told me the design looks Celtic and my impression is of a fairyland with elves. there are other papers available, collect them all!

I'm a lifelong artist and crafter. I started Grin Graphics to do professional Illustration and Printmaking in New York City where I worked with Galleries and Museums. Now in Oregon I mostly delve into paper projects and blank books. Creativity is my approach and collaboration with others an expression of a vision, an end result of the creative process. The items I have crafted for my shop are designed to help you express yourself creatively as well.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if an item isn't returned in original condition. Orders can be cancelled if the items have not yet shipped.
I can generally ship within one business day on items in stock. I cannot take responsibility for postal delays. Custom orders will have their own time frame for production which will be agreed to prior to purchase as well as any deposits on the order. Custom orders cannot be cancelled.
