About this Product
"Earth Angel" is an original OOAK Rachel Robbins mixed media framed painting on 16X20 canvas. Ornate resin frame in vintage design; ready-to-hang, adding about 2.5 inches circumference but very lightweight. Ethereal angel is created with acrylic, alcohol ink, oil detail, and gold leaf. I'm having a hard time navigating this site; the photo editor keeps chopping photos in half, but I'll try to get one of these to work.

As for me, I'm Rach Robbins, a mixed media artist who grew up running around in the Maine woods, reading books in trees, sculpting with mud dug from the brook, bathing in the river, throwing hay bales, and organic gardening on our family farm. Dreaming was encouraged, and I never stopped.

How it’s Made
"Earth Angel" is alcohol ink, activated charcoal, acrylic paint, oil detail, and a bit of gold leaf on canvas. I've described how much I enjoy finding shapes within abstract imagery, and usually what turns up are pretty faces and wings. Sometimes cute animals? Maybe they're all spirit guides? Anyway, once I discovered the joys of alcohol ink, this became lots of fun, and it's how I found your earth angel buried in the canvas with the earth below her feet. I don't remember where the frame is from...probably it a secondhand store where I removed the original print and then antiqued it with a combo of gold alloy and rub 'n buff. It's hanging at a spa at the moment so I'd have to look it over again to get a closer look. [I like to make dirty frames clean and clean frames dirty.] Anyway, she's very cute, and perfect for someone who loves pink, angels, and a bit of sparkle.
Shop Policies
Right As Rain Eclectic Art sells only Rachel Robbins originals in the GoImagine shop, so all sales are final. Unfortunately, refunds or returns are not an option when it comes to owning a OOAK piece.
