About this Product
"Snow Angel" is an 11X17 original Rachel Robbins mixed-media painting on 11X14 birch panel. She is SO pretty! I used all kinds of stuff here here:
Acrylic, watercolor, pastel, oil paint pen activated charcoal, spraypaint (!) pretty much everything but the kitchen sink. This angel was so much fun to make, and would make a lovely holiday gift.
[This painting is UNFRAMED; the framed photo is my own; I'm posting as staging; "Snow Angel" in this heavy vintage wooden frame and glass would be a couple hundred dollars more and I'd definitely be charging shipping. Like, a *lot* of shipping.]
The snow angel is truly lovely, and her eyes almost follow you around the room. Birch really soaks up color and gives a more vibrant look.

As for me, I'm Rach Robbins, a mixed media artist who grew up running around in the Maine woods, reading books in trees, sculpting with mud dug from the brook, bathing in the river, throwing hay bales, and organic gardening on our family farm. Dreaming was encouraged, and I never stopped.

How it’s Made
I kinda covered how Snow Angel "happened" just describing the materials used. We had three straight days of snow, when I worked on her! So...I was inspired.
