Womens Dia de los Muertos print cotton dress with a hand embroidered linen front yoke. Bright beautiful Dia de los muertos mermaid print quilting quality cotton cloth makes up the skirt and sleeves of this dress. The billowing sleeves have an elasticized over the shoulder fit as well as an elasticized fit at the wrist. The fitted bodice is fully lined with a soft cotton gauze for comfort and breathability. Front yoke and sash ties are made from black linen and have been hand embroidered by me. The high waist fitted bodice can be snugged to your exact shape/size with the linen sashes tied to the back. Back center seam has a black zipper closure and hook and eye at neckline. The skirt flares to a gentle A-line at a just above the knee length.
This dress is made in a womens size small, to fit the following measurement range:
Bust: 32" to 36" (inches)
Since this dress is fairly loose through the waist and hips, it is not crucial to compare measurements theough that area. The bodice is fitted, and does have some front bust shaping, but is not skin tight . There is additional ease that can be cinched up exactly to your size using the black linen sashes.

Meet the Maker
Hi, my name is Trinity. I have been a professional tailor and dressmaker for almost 30 years now. I originally learned basic sewing from my mother, and kept designing and sewing all through my teenage years. At 19, I began working in the fur and leather aspect of the industry, creating and altering buckskin and various other leather and fur jackets and clothing. As time went on, I worked in a lot of different sewing settings, from factory line sewing to a mens tailoring shop, all the while continuing to create my own clothing and dress designs and selling them at faires, markets, and eventually online when the internet came along. These days I have my own sewing and alterations shop located in beautiful Sonoma County, Ca., where I alter customers clothing as well as offer my creations for sale.
In my spare time (Ha!) I also enjoy hiking, foraging for wild mushrooms and berries, classic car restoration, mermaid swimming, and battling the stranglehold of capitalism.

It is the buyers responsibility to be certain of their own sizing and make sensible comparisons to the size and measurement information I provide. Aquariuz will not provide refunds for garments that are the correct size but dont meet the buyers expectations.
Additionally, Aquariuz will not provide a refund/return for any garment which has been worn or altered in any way. Please understand that I am a small business, not a large corporation.
