This is a beautiful beveled Victorian style sun catcher with a centerpiece of a clear, faceted bevel.
16 clear glass cabochons kissed with a center green droplet surround the triangle shaped bevel.
A single large, clear glass prism and six small glass prisms dangle below the bevel.
Decorative wire swirls adorn either side.
Sunlight streaming through this piece gives a gorgeous sparkle.
Approximately ten inches long, and five inches across is the perfect size for the little window that needs a little "something".
This would make a delightful hostess, teacher or co-worker gift as well.
The wire loop on top has a green satin ribbon attached so this little gem is ready to hang.

I am married with two grown children and four wonderful grandchildren. My husband and myself live in Delaware, surrounded by chicken and vegetable farms. It’s a quiet, laid back lifestyle which fits our golden years nicely.
Stained glass is a hobby I had gotten into about 30 years ago. Now that I’m retired, children are on their own, and husband is busy with his own hobbies, I can devote more of my time to it.
Looking at sheets of glass and imagining what it can be turned into, then making it happen, is what gives me the most joy. Over the years I have designed and installed many windows for family and friends. Now most of my glasswork is sun catchers and small panels, though I enjoy making the occasional custom stained glass window.

How it’s Made
A large clear diamond shaped bevel was copper foiled. Next 16 cabochons, or glass droplets which would fit around the outside of the bevel were cleaned, foiled and soldered around the edges. Gold ornamental metal was clipped and soldered along the top and lower edges, then the crystals were attached.

The item you purchased will be packaged with care to avoid any breakage. However, things happen. Sometimes the carriers are not as careful as we'd like them to be. I will want to see a photo of the damaged item, and I will refund, or ask you to return it depending on what we determine/discuss.
